Rob & Ruth’s Corner Shop. Ice creams, coffees, maps, guides etc etc. They stock all that you’ll need and more.

Open from 7am – 6.30pm, extended hours in the summer.

Friendly and efficient store. Also just across the bridge of our meeting place.

Glenridding Mini-Market

Located in the village, on one of the main paths up to Helvellyn and other walks.

Best way to describe the opening hours is 8am until late ( 10pm is common ).

Great selection of drinks & food. A friendly welcome every day.

RWC Outdoor Gear Repairs

Based just south of Penrith, they very much embrace the Repair, Reuse and Recycle ethos.

Whether you’d like to post your gear to them, or drop it off in person, they’ll happily give you all the details of how they can assist.

From down jackets to wetsuits. Zips, tears, patches, draw cords etc are their expertise
