Free parking at Glenridding Sailing Centre is usually available all year for the Morning & Evening trips.
For Afternoon trips :
Easter, May, June & September :
During this period please park in the village on weekends and Bank Holidays for afternoon tours.
July & August :
During this period please park in the village on all days for afternoon tours.

Give them to me. They will be locked in a safe place in my car. The sailing centre is a very secure place and it’s good idea not to take them out onto the lake.

All trips are booked online. If you’ve just tried to call me on a morning, for a trip the same afternoon, apologies, I’m probably out on the water, and there is no further availability today.

Guest experiences on previous trips have demonstrated that if any of the following applies, these trips are not suitable due to comfort.
1. A BMI of 26 or over.
2. Weigh 102 KG (16 Stone) or over.
3. Regards young kids, the boats are a lot larger than children’s outdoor activity centre boats. Many parents have struggled on a windy day when sharing with a young child. This is unfair on everyone ( other guests, the child, the parent ).
If any of these apply, maybe check out hiring a rafted canoe or a ‘ Sit-on-Top ‘ from Glenridding Sailing Centre. -

I am quite tall. 6 ft 7 in, or 201 cm.

A bottle of water, any meds, and snacks if you want. They’re not essential, but I’ll be giving you a deck bag if you want to store anything in there. If you don’t bring chocolate, I’d appreciate it. It tends to melt all over the bag.
