  • Group Size: 4 maximum ( Private groups of 5 or 6 please email ).
  • Booking cut off time : 8 pm the evening before any trip

Ullswater Kayaking Tour in the Lake District

Ullswater is, without a doubt, the most beautiful of the big lakes. It features islands, bays & beaches, and lots of scenery.

The ethos on the trips is always the same. Enjoy the scenery, have a chat, pass on a bit of knowledge and learn from people looking for a similar experience.

There’s no set route, that will depend on conditions and group ability. We use Double ( Tandem ) Sea Kayaks for maximum comfort, dryness and stability. See the FAQ page.

While a capsize is very unlikely, it is always possible. With that in mind, for each person we have a maximum limit of a BMI of 26, maximum weight of 102 Kg ( 16 Stone ). See the FAQ page for more details.
